Thanksgiving morning always feels a little bit magical to me.
The house wakes up slowly.
The kitchen smells like butter and cinnamon.
Someone turns on the parade.
The day stretches out like a warm blanket — soft, familiar, comforting.
Before everything gets busy today, I wanted to carve out a little space here to say something that’s been sitting on my heart:
I’m grateful for you.
If you’ve been following my journey, you know this year has been a chapter of returning — returning home to Washington, returning to my business, and returning to myself after a long season away.
Rebuilding isn’t glamorous.
It’s quiet, humbling, and deeply personal.
There were moments this year when I wondered if I could really start again — if anyone would care, if the dream was still alive, if the little spark I carried for so long still had a flame left.
But every time I shared a story, posted a behind-the-scenes moment, or sent an email… you were there.
Opening, reading, replying, supporting, cheering me on in small but meaningful ways.
And whether you’ve made a purchase or simply kept me in your inbox, you’ve played a part in my rebuilding season.
For that, I’m endlessly grateful.
Today, I hope you find pockets of joy — the big loud moments and the tiny quiet ones. I hope you’re surrounded by warmth, good food, and the kind of memories that last far longer than the turkey leftovers.
Thank you for being here, in this small but important corner of my life.
Thank you for being part of The Willow Tree Co.
Thank you for letting me dream out loud.
Happy Thanksgiving, from my home to yours.
Warmly,
Sophia
