My Love,

I’ve lived much of my life quietly. Sometimes by circumstance, sometimes by survival.

Growing up with a hearing disability, I learned to observe the world more than I participated in it — always watching, always interpreting, always feeling a step removed from the moment.

And then life swept me into the world of military marriage — a life of constant movement, rebuilding, and raising my daughters while my husband served far from home. There were years I played both mother and father. Years when exhaustion met determination. Years when I cried myself to sleep out of frustration but woke up smiling because my girls needed softness more than they needed perfection.

Through all of this — the loneliness, the strength, the quiet battles — I found something unexpected:

I found myself.

I learned how to love myself fiercely.

How to hold onto my tenderness.

How to choose gratitude even in seasons where nothing felt certain.

How to build beauty in small, intentional ways… with my hands, my heart, my memories.

And that is how The Willow Tree Co. was born.

Not as a hobby.

Not as an escape.

But as a sanctuary — a place where fragrance becomes a hug, where home becomes a refuge, and where small luxuries remind us to breathe softer and love ourselves deeper.

Every candle I pour carries a story.

Every scent note holds a memory.

Every detail is crafted as if it’s a gift — because for me, it is.
